Sacrament of Reconciliation
Next Tuesday at 7pm, we are looking forward to celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation with our Year 3 and 4 students and families. The Sacrament of Reconciliation, is the time when we celebrate the wonderful experience of God love, healing and forgiveness. The Grade 3 and 4 students have been preparing for this sacrament throughout this term. The Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation Eucharist and Confirmation help us to feel a part of God’s family and call us to live as followers of Jesus.

Project Compassion
Each year Project Compassion brings together thousands of Australians in schools, parishes and the community to stand in solidarity with the world’s most vulnerable communities, to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.
This year, the theme of Project Compassion is “Be More.” It challenges us to venture into a new experience of compassion, and is taken from the invitation of Saint Oscar Romero, to “Aspire not to have more, but to be more.” This message invites us to step up and step out for those who do not have the essential resources they need for their survival.
This year for Project Compassion each classroom has a large donation box on their prayer table to collect money. The children will participating in a Coin line on Monday in Week 10 to see how much money we have raised to support people less fortunate than ourselves.
