Swimming Carnival

The Mornington Secondary College Community made their way to Pines Forest Aquatic Centre for the annual Swimming Carnival on Thursday 11th February.

It was a fun and festive atmosphere with our students and staff dressing up and getting involved in all aspects of the day. The pool held a number of competitive and novelty events throughout the day to ensure all students had something to get involved in.

The Swimming Carnival makes up the first leg of the ‘House Cup’ and despite a close tussle throughout the day it was the mighty Beleura Redbacks who were the eventual winners on the day.

The results were:

Beleura Redbacks – 801 points

Balcombe Stingrays – 759 points

Tuerong Sharks – 703 points

Coolart Crocs – 572 points

Next up we have our Athletics Carnival on Monday March 15th at Ballam Park Athletics Track – which ensures to be another fantastic day on the College Sporting Calendar. We have events for all students to take part in, including track, field and a range of novelty events.
