Multiage Big Day Out

We caught a train to Flinders St, and we went upstairs on the escalator. We had morning tea in Fed Sq in the big comfy deck chairs under the big beach umbrellas.

Then we went to ACMI and we had an amazing time. We looked at old cameras and TVs, the wind up spinning movie maker, old costumes and scary masks and we saw the Mad Max Police car called the Interceptor. We made shadow puppets and we danced to make flipbooks and we could save them on our discs to take home. The best thing was the Arcade Games and we played old games like Mrs Pac Man, football and basketball, PlayStation and the Simpsons. We saw old pictures on our hands in the Memory Garden and we saw millions of stars.

We ate our lunch beside the Yarra River and we had a quick play in the Birrarung Marr Playground. On the way back to Flinders St we went inside St Paul’s Cathedral to see “Gaia” the giant earth and to listen to the opera singers singing under it.

Our Big Day Out was brilliant, awesome and deadly!!
