Tickets can be purchased here: https://compasstix.com/e/8kxw64jszd

ENVIRO TEAM

Congratulations to the Enviro team for being selected to receive  a Junior Land Care Grant. Junior Landcare grants help bring sustainability into classrooms across Australia to teach children how to care for their local environment. The Junior Landcare grants program offers both funding and in-kind support for schools, early childhood centres, before and after school centres and youth groups.

This grant will allow TPS to purchase worm farms and to become Creative Composters https://woolworthsgrantsmap.juniorlandcare.org.au/grant-round-4/creative-composters/ . We had a great turn out at the Working Bee, where we weeded and mulched the front garden, did general tidy up in the sheds and nursery, followed by food and drinks, and then a fruit tree pruning workshop by garden guru Angelo Eliades from Deen Green Permaculture. A fun day all around on a beautiful spring like day.

MASTERPLAN AND GROUNDS

Playground upgrade

The Inclusive Playspace project is in progress and work is set to commence in the coming months. Before the project starts signage will be put up around the school advising of the works. Thank you to leadership, Enviro and Masterplan and Grounds Subcommittees who have taken the lead in making this project come to life.

Traffic Safety

School Council continues to advocate for improved traffic safety measures around school. Signage and line marking upgrades are planned and soon we hope to have a traffic and speed survey underway which will help further inform traffic behaviour around the school.
