SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

A wonderful day was had by all at the Sacred Heart Athletics Carnival last Wednesday, even if the weather was a little brisk! Thank you to all the parents that came along and cheered and supported our great school and our wonderful canteen helpers.

A special thank you to Mrs Heidi Hardaker and Mr Gary McSweeney from the Catholic Schools Office that came along to our day and helped in the role of starter and timekeeper. They had a lovely time and commented how Sacred Heart was a beautiful school and they are looking forward to coming back and joining us again next year.

Congratulations to our age champions and to Cox for being the winning house on the day.

The Primary Diocesan Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday 12th August 2022 at the Tamworth Regional Athletics Centre located off Jack Smyth Drive, Tamworth. This carnival is a selection event for the Polding Athletics Carnival in Hunter Sports Centre, Glendale, on Friday 9th September 2022. We congratulate the 16 students from Sacred Heart that will represent the school next week.
