Principal’s Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Week 3!

Thank you to everyone who came to support Sacred Heart at our Athletics Carnival last week. It was great to see so many parents, grandparents and special friends cheering on both houses. 

Congratulations to both the Cox and Namoi teams as well as our sixteen students who have qualified to participate in the Diocesan athletics carnival being held next week in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to represent our school - good luck!

This Wednesday we will be hosting a parent information session for reading. This will be an opportunity for you to come and see how we teach reading and how you can help your children at home. This session is aimed at pre- kindergarten students up to Year 6 and beyond. The session will run for 45 minutes and commence at 3:15 pm.

This Thursday we will be hosting our grandparents and special friends day from 10:30am -11:30am. We will commence with a liturgy, followed by open classrooms so you can spend some time seeing what students are learning in our classrooms. After the open classrooms we will have morning tea together.

On Thursday morning we will also be hosting our kindergarten information session for students commencing in 2023. Please meet at the front office at 10 am. This session will conclude at 10:30 am.

Our kindergarten interviews are continuing this week for students commencing kinder in 2023. If you know of anyone who is intending to enrol at Sacred Heart please encourage them to contact me at school.
