Science Week

Students in Years F/1 participated in an online learning experience about Pollinators: Honey Bees. Students were joined by Mr. Kengo all the way from the Liberty Science Centre in New Jersey, USA. Through an exciting hands on experiment, students were able to explore the work of bees by designing a pollination device.

Students in Years 3-6 participated in a Parks Victoria webinar which focused on using science to protect our marine environments. We were joined by a Parks Victoria Marine Ranger, Monique Bregman, who shared beautiful imagery of Victoria's marine environment (including images she took while diving), discussed how she used science in her job and also suggested actions that students can take which will contribute to the protection of our marine ecosystems.
