Grade 2

This week in the Grade 2 classroom we discussed healthy communities. We talked about what they look and feel like, as well as pointing out the healthy parts of our own community. 

Students used poster paper to design their own ideal community. They used the cut and paste resources from the Greater Shepparton City Council’s magazine ‘Kids Co-designing Healthy Places’ 

This term we have an inquiry focus of ‘Australia’ and will be doing a range of activities to learn about our country. 

The students really enjoyed kick starting our unit with a collaborative colouring in. We all chose a page to colour individually then we put it together.
