Expressions of Interest

As a busy Term 3 starts to come to an end, some of our Parents’ and Friends’ Committee members will be vacating their positions.

We would like to thank and acknowledge two committee members for all their hard work and dedication to the committee and to serving our parent cohort.

As Year 12 students graduate next week, we will be farewelling Ms Jacqui Barton and Ms Catherine Doherty from the P&F Committee who will also be leaving us as their sons graduate from St Patrick’s College.

Jacqui joined the Parents’ and Friends’ Committee way back in 2015 when her son Lachlan Barton commenced at the College in Year 5. Jacqui started as a general committee member but soon moved on to do what she does best, organising social gatherings. This ultimately led to Jacqui becoming the Vice President, a role that she has taken on board with the utmost professionalism and dedication. Most of you would know Jacqui as the go-to person for the Blue, Black and Gold Dinner. She has been an integral part of organising our much loved and most successful annual College dinner. We are sad that she is leaving us, and we wish her well as she embarks on this new chapter of her son’s life.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to Catherine Doherty, who commenced in her role as Secretary of the committee in 2019.

We were fortunate to have had Catherine’s expertise as an Executive Assistant within her workplace, which was beneficial to the committee. Catherine has shown us what true teamwork is all about, keeping us all up to date with our duties for the term. There was nothing that she left unturned to ensure we all ran smoothly as a committee. Catherine has always gone above and beyond her role to assist others on the committee. We will miss Catherine also as she leaves us, but we wish her and Nicholas well as they also commence a new chapter in their lives.
