What is the I CAN Program? 

The I CAN program is an 8-week program where you can do very fun things like meet nice people who a very funny and share similar interests as you, make a movie and eat a bunch of your favorite snacks (on the last week). Most importantly it’s a safe place to go to during the school week and a place where you can truly express how you feel, if you want to. 

My experience

My experience of I CAN was that it allowed me to have a place to go to on days where school might be challenging and provide me with a reward for the hard work that I’d done. It was a safe environment that you could really have fun in with other students. I was able to meet some new people, I would get lots of laughter out of it, but I also became a little bit more comfortable at school and I learned some things about work life and teamwork as well. The people there were all lovely and nice and the students there were funny and so that was the highlight for me. I would recommend the I CAN program to other students because it's just a fun place to be and you can learn a lot from it and personally it was the highlight of my day.
