MASTERCHEF CHALLENGE

 

A busy, but fantastic afternoon was had right at the end of last term.  All of the Compass and Bronze Award Students got engaged in a camp cooking challenge.

 

Their challenge was to work in a small group and cook a meal that would be suitable and nutritious for their hike and that could be cooked on a Trangia stove with minimal waste. It was fantastic! A variety of meals were attempted with varying results.  I particularly noticed the students' strengths of working together, being safe and managing their equipment carefully.    Have a look at the variety of meals cooked – well done to all!
