A big thank you to St Anthony’s families for supporting our Market day last week. It was a great success and we sold all our herbs and seedlings. The much needed funds raised will be used for purchasing cooking and gardening supplies. 

Holidays are a great opportunity to spend some time with your children doing garden projects together or taking a walk in a local park and trying to identify plants growing and flowering in winter. 

Gardening chores like raking leaves or weeding could be encouraged with small amounts of pocket money (or other rewards appropriate in your family). That could be a great incentive for children to get off their screens and out into the fresh air with the bonus of a tidier garden.
