Parents & Friends' (PFA)

Well that’s a wrap. Half a school year….done!  We hope the school holidays go smoothly for all.

As we hit the half way mark we thought it would be good to recap some of the ways the PFA fundraising has been spent this year to further enhance student experience and education.

• Edison robots – the school purchased 10 Edison robots for students to practice coding (you may have read about it in an earlier newsletter)
• Decodable books for the Junior classes to devour as part of their literacy program 
• Art supplies and boards which will support this year’s Art Show
• A treat for the kids at Thursday’s crazy hair and pyjama day

Thanks to everyone who has helped out at an event, baked a cake, bought a raffle ticket, a snag and every other support that goes into the fun and fundraising activities.

Coming up in term 3…..

St Anthony’s Bush Dance

Term 3 is starting with a hoot. Back by popular demand the St Anthony’s Bush Dance is coming!!! So polish up those boots, dust off the hats and get ready for some family fun. Save the date in your diaries – Friday 28 July at St Anthony’s Parish Hall.

All About Dad

Term 3 will also include the Father’s Day breakfast and gift stall. The Year 3/4TO class liaisons (Vicky, Lucy, Joy) are taking the lead on this one so please put your hand up when they ask for helpers.

PFA Meeting

The next PFA meeting is Tuesday 11th July and as always everyone is welcome. Details will be shared on return in Term 3.
