VOCABULARY

Multiplication - a mathematical operation which involves repeated addition

Worded problem - a maths question written as one sentence or more that requires children to apply their maths knowledge to a 'real-life' scenario

Have your child create a worded multiplication problem inspired by their life. Then have them answer the question and justify their answer by using another strategy.
