Seasons…

Well here we are starting another new term. I hope that you were able to take time to enjoy the school holidays, and that you were able to find some time to rest. And I hope you kept warm! It has been freezing this winter. What a cold season we are in.

Speaking of seasons, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that my season at Blackburn Primary School is coming to an end. It is with a broken heart that I make this decision, as my time at BPS has been incredibly special. I have loved every moment!

I have had the privilege of serving as Chaplain at BPS for 2 and a half years, and during this time, I have witnessed countless moments of growth, compassion, and resilience among the students and staff. It has been an honour to provide guidance, support, and a listening ear to those who needed it. I deeply value the connections I have made with the school community, and the impact I have been able to make in the lives of the students and families that I have been supporting. I really love BPS, and it will always have a special place in my heart.

I am so grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement that I have received from the entire school body. The commitment, dedication and the strong sense of community demonstrated by the families and all of the staff at BPS has been truly remarkable. I know I have made friendships that will be lifelong friendships.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the trust that was placed in me to fulfill the responsibilities of my role. Everyone was so supportive, warm and welcoming from day one. I am so appreciative. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the entire school community for the support and collaboration I have experienced throughout my time at BPS.

“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome." - Anne Bradstreet

It has been an honour and privilege to serve as the Chaplain at Blackburn Primary, and I wish everyone continued success and fulfillment. I will miss you all so much!

Thank you!
