Around The Grounds
New Landscape Area
The new landscaped area adjacent to Snowden Oval has recently completed the next phase of development, repurposing the space where Huntingtower’s old heritage cypress trees resided. This flexible wellbeing space was officially opened to students this month.

Business Management Stalls
The Unit 1/2 Business Management class set up an array of stalls for a very hands on project this week. The assignment challenged students to come up with an idea for a business and follow the process all the way through to market day!
Rayner Fundraiser Talent Show
Earlier this month Rayner House put on their fundraiser talent show in the PAC, well done to all performers and also to the Huntingtower community who came with donations that supported The Sunrise of Africa School.
Thank you very much to all the artists who performed so wonderfully on the day. Katherine, Daphne, Matthew, Esha, Tara, Sanula, Albert, James and the Spice Boys, and Shady Shannon.
Our fundraising total was just over $1,200.

Students Learning Financial Literacy
Huntingtower has recently held workshops with the help of Banqer (a company that prepares the next generation for their financial future), which integrated programs into the Project Based Learning (PBL) curriculum. This has empowered students to have more control over their lives and it is a wonderful tool helping students learn relevant life and money skills.
