Winter Wonderland Disco
This week in Music, we have been focusing on social dances to prepare a few known dances for Friday, 21st of July. Mrs Blanas and I have also compiled a list of requested songs from the padlets sites. Students have been invited to make some suggestions for the playlists.

And the winner is…
I was hoping to announce the winner of our fabulous Battle of the Bands at the end of Term 2 however, with year fives on camp we couldn’t get the votes from every class. The results are now in, and a BIG announcement will be made at the assembly on Monday.
The winning band will receive: -
The perpetual trophy to keep until the end of the year, a certificate of achievement and, as a special bonus, Annette in the canteen has donated ice-cream vouchers for every student in the winning band.

As a final thank you from Battle of the Bands, I’d like to acknowledge Mrs Jennette Green. Her input and support for all musical events this year has been so appreciated. Mrs Green assisted with setting up the stage and gathering students backstage for each performance. She and her family have been a wonderful addition to IPS and the Music Department.
