Host Families Needed

Japanese Exchange Program August 2023

We are in need of 11 families to host a student from Kogakuin Junior High School. Eleven male students aged between 14 to 15 years of age will be arriving on Thursday 10th August and departing on Tuesday 22nd August 2023 – Week 3 and 4 of next term.

We are asking Endeavour families to consider hosting a student, even if your child does not study Japanese. Exchange programs like this are not only beneficial to language learners, but they help to develop intercultural awareness and understanding. It is a great opportunity to build friendships and networks with people from the other side of the world.

An allowance is offered to contribute towards the cost of hosting. Exchange students do not need their own room, a mattress on the floor is fine! Application forms are found below and need to be returned to Sakamoto Sensei via email by Friday 9th June, 6:00pm.
