Year 2 & Art Project

This term, the Year 2 students have been invited to participate in an art project with Anu Patel, the artist who helped create the sculpture in our DCC Kitchen Garden. The project is called the Garden of Earthly Delights and will include looking at the open spaces at our school and exploring design, sculptures and masterplans. 

We invited interested Year 2 students to apply to be involved in the project, to give students voice and agency over their participation. They needed to answer 2 questions

1. Why do you think you should be part of this project? 
2. What skills do you have that would be helpful to this project?

We were inundated with fabulous applications showcasing their amazing talents. I had the delightful task of reading through the applications and selecting the successful artists.
