Helping with our wellbeing through lockdown

We have a couple of useful tools to use to help with students wellbeing during remote learning.

 

Wellbeing Journal

We have created a wellbeing journal to help our student's through the lockdown period. The booklet has lots of mindfulness and activities that build positive emotions.  You can collect a copy from out the front of the office from Monday morning.

 

 

Virtual Wellbeing Room

On our students portal there is a virtual HIVE (our wellbeing room) where students can jump in and find some great activities where you can engage your senses. Jump on and check it out!

Tuesday 2 pm Cooking with Mrs. Stefanec

 

Vanilla Cupcakes with Butter Cream Icing 

Cupcakes

2 3/4 cups plain flour

2 tsp baking powder

200 g unsalted butter softened

1 3/4 cups caster sugar

4 eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup milk

hundreds and thousands or other decoration pieces such as malteasers/smarties

 

Butter Cream

100 g unsalted butter softened

1/4cup milk

1 tbs vanilla extract

4 cups icing sugar

2 drops liquid food colouring optional

Snaplock bag or piping bag

 

Wednesday 2pm Yoga and Mindfulness with Frank

Join Frank for a relaxing and energising session of yoga and fun.

 

Thursday 2pm  Garden Antics with Frank and Mr. Woods
