Premiers Reading Challenge

The Premier's Reading Challenge will finish on 17th September, don't forget to add your books so they can be verified.

You can keep adding books even after you reach your goal of 15. Email Ms FitzGerald if you need help. 

Science Week

As it was Science Week last week, staff participated in a science dress-up competition. Congratulations to Mrs. Malhotra for winning the competition. Well done everyone for participating.  We'll be sharing some more photos in eConnected later this week.

Indian Consulate Essay Competition

Raksha Bandhan festival

Yesterday, 22nd August was the festival of Raksha Bandhan. 

This is a festival of brothers, sisters and cousins and is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm in India. The festival celebrates the love and bond between brothers and sisters. On this day sisters tie a bracelet known as Rakhi to the wrist of their brothers and pray for their long life. Brothers promise to support their sisters forever.

Before lockdown, Year 8 students learnt about the festival and made some bracelets in lessons.

Its not too late to register! If you and your family would like to be involved, please call the office on 5996 0144, with your family/students name and provide the Kahoot team name you will be using. You will be sent a Webex link before the night, to log into for the competition.
