CSEF - Government Assistance for Camps and Excursions

Parents who have a Health Care Card may be eligible to receive Government Assistance which can be used towards Camps and Excursions in 2019.  If you received the benefit last year and are still eligible you do not need to re-apply.  If you did not receive the benefit last year but believe you are eligible, please come to the office as soon as possible to complete a form.

Please note that we cannot use this money for excursions until such time as we have actually recieved it from the government.  We are hoping for the first lot of payment around the middle of March.

Compass

A reminder that Compass is the main communication tool for parents and WHPS.  We suggest that you login regularly to check important information for families. 

If you are experiencing difficulty with Compass, please do not hesitate to contact the school General Office for assistance or refer to A Parent’s Guide to Compass.

When you next login to Compass, please check the School Resources (Pencil Icon) for useful school information and forms eg. Canteen List, Compass Guides etc.

Updating Family & Emergency Contact Details

Last week, the school emailed families a copy of the Student Enrolment Information Form for checking and updating. 

We request that you read the email, review details and forward changes to the school asap.

Please check all information, including:

• Parent contact numbers
• Work employment details including contact numbers
• Emergency contact details
• Changes to student living arrangements
• New or changed student medical information.

Stationary Donations

In the foyer, we have boxes for donation of unwanted pencils, scissors and textas. The boxes will remain until the end of term and items donated to a charity that support students in need.
