AFTER SCHOOL CARE

 Junior Program

The children have been enjoying the Home corner with babies and dress-ups. Especially when Peter is being dressed up.

Collage has been a hit with many animals and objects being created each day.

The focus for the next 2 weeks is exploring different paint methods including straw blowing paintings.

The Steiner area will get a change with farm animals replacing the dinosaurs.

Middle Program

Constructions kits have been a big hit this term with the large sticks and balls making cubbyhouses and smaller constructions kits also being used.

Pom poms making has been enjoyed by the children in the last few weeks and this has led to many of the children wanting to learn knitting.

To encourage fine motor development and a sensory activity the children are planning to make playdough next week and work with pushing, squishing and creating with the dough.

REMINDERS AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Fee Increase for 2019 – there will be a $1 increase to ASC fees only as of the start of Term 3. This increase is to enable the program to employee a person to manage the accounts more efficiently and chase up outstanding payments and follow procedures for this. The new ASC rate will be $25 permanent and $30 for casual bookings. We have left the BSC and Vacation Care fees at current rates for the rest of this year.

Keep your eye out for direct Debit forms coming out in the next 2 weeks

We are hoping to have this payment plan in place by the end of the term.

We will also have electronic sign in starting during the vacation care program. This will make drop off and pick-ups much easier for families once we have it all in place.

Please bear with us while we get everyone onto the new system.
