Year One Butterflies

Come in to the Art Room and see the kaleidoscope of butterflies, fluttering up the wall. The Year One children worked hard at creating a symmetrical design both in pattern, shape and colour. Gianni, Hazel, Payton and Mila did a great job, showing their creativity.

Prep Library Bags

The Prep children have been hard at work in the Art Room creating their Library Bags. The have used their own hands to create the wings and incorporated past knowledge of lines and shapes to decorate in a symmetrical way.

The idea behind the bags is to add a little more imagery each year until Year Six. It will become a visual record of the child's years at Kingswood Primary School and hopefully their growing skills.

Don't forget to iron the bag when your child brings it home to set the fabric textas.

Year Three and Four Optical Illusions

The students learnt how to create four different types of Optical Illusions and then had to extend their thinking and create their own original optical illusion, based on one of the styles. They have come up with some very creative images, using complimentary colours to make all parts of the illusion stand out.

Well done Year Threes and Fours.
