The Year 5 & 6 students participated in a Visual Thinking Strategy to encourage them to look more closely at professional artworks and the details within them. They were then required to research an artist of their own choice and decide what they would pay homage to. For example, they may have chosen the colours, the style, the topic or the techniques to pay homage to and include in their own original design. 

Each of these pieces of art, have been produced by the Year 5 and 6 students. They have taken its inspiration from a professional artist and the results are unique and interesting. Ask the students which artist inspired them and why!
