School Production
The Wizard of Oz
It is that time of year again and our school production is under way. This year we have chosen a classic, The Wizard of Oz. In 2019 it will be the musical’s 80th anniversary, so what better way to celebrate than for Glen Eira College to put on the best show yet.
Mrs Mortimer and Ms Wood have already started auditions in week 2, with singing and dancing. In week 3 we will be having call-backs as well as acting auditions. The amount of talent that has been showcased is amazing and all students should be immensely proud. It will be a hard show to cast but we are all very excited.
Crew sign ups will commence in the near future, around week 6. Any student in Years 7-12 is welcome to apply and sign up times will be advertised in the bulletin. We need students in all areas: sound, lighting, props, sets, make up, costumes and much more. We will also call upon parents to assist later on, so please keep reading our school newsletter for details.
