Whole School Swimming Carnival

Our 2019 Swimming carnival showed Uralla Central School how strong some of our swimmers have become, with the likes of the Tayla and Amber Press and Cody and Brydie Williams leading the pack within their respective age groups. Thankfully the weather held out and gave us plenty of sun to compete in, which included new activities with the addition of novelty events for all ages. It was excellent to see the efforts and achievments Uralla Central School students had when competing to score points for their house. Again, we saw Saumarez finish on top, whether thanks to numbers or superior swimming remains to be seen. Though there were no records broken, staff at Uralla Central School continued to comment on our students' competitive nature while remaining positive sportspeople, which is always great to hear! 

Thank you to all community members and staff for attending the swimming carnival and helping out, whether by cheering, supervising or encouraging our children to get involved. It would not have run as safe and smoothly without your help.
