Prayers Please

We pray for the family of Mrs Taliano, grandmother of Mr Rizzeri and Mr Harpley, grandfather of Seth Brand who sadly passed away.

We continue to pray for any families in our community who have lost loved ones or are suffering illnesses.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Science News

Year 9 students are currently studying earthquakes in the Dynamic Earth Unit. They successfully completed an engineering challenge of constructing an earthquake proof house on their earthquake simulator. The demonstrated skills in collaboration and critical thinking.

CCC Cup

On Wednesday afternoon the open boys rugby league team travelled to Leeton to take on St. Francis in the first round of the statewide Catholic schools competition. The team started slowly and struggled to gain momentum during the match. Having not played together previously the team found it hard going against a well drilled St. Francis team. The highlight of the game was seeing the likes of Samuel Scarfone and Frank Velis getting out of their comfort zone and participate in what is a foreign sport to them. There were glimpses of the teams potential throughout the game but unfortunately were defeated. The team was well serviced by the defence of Olivah Smyth and the strong carries from Thomas Royal and Connor Bock. Looking forward to a better result next year when we host St. Francis here at Marian.
