Primary Co-Curricular
Primary Co-Curricular Report
The final week of term brings a close to the Winter season.
The only Primary team left in action is the Year 6/7 basketball team led by Miss Jessica Hansen. The boys finished in second place in Division 1 after the minor round. They face off against Norwood in the decider this Wednesday for the Division 1 championship. Good luck to the boys. Hopefully they can finish the season off in style!
Many thanks must go to all coaches and managers who assisted in the Winter program. There is a great deal of time and effort that goes into the co-curricular program from staff, old scholars, parents and students. The rewards both on field and on court might not always be in Blackfriars’ favour, but the level of participation and enjoyment and the various skills learned throughout, contribute to well-rounded and respectful individuals.
Please note that all summer sports begin in the first week of Term 4. Please consult the training schedule on the attached table for further information. This information is also available on the school website and SEQTA parent portal.
Uniform Returns
It is expected that all football jumpers, soccer shirts and basketball singlets are returned before the end of this term.
Items not returned before the term’s end will incur an invoice for the replacement cost of the garment.
Students have been emailed, visited in class and reminded consistently since the finish of sport over three weeks back.
Have a restful holiday break.
