The August Workshop went really well and left the children with some great, fun ideas to help manage their moods.
Mindul Moovz integrates yoga, chi gong and mindfulness games teaching the children to be more aware of their breathing and ways to manage anger and other emotions. Although quiet practice is wonderful it is important to learn how to meet your mood – doing something mindfully active – before being still. This is the magic of Mindful Moovz, the children identify with and enjoy the practices. Together we create an emotional toolkit of strategies that can be used once the workshop is completed and helps with their overall coping strategies for the future. Parents have found benefits in children being able to calm themselves and fall asleep more quickly at night and being less moody overall. In the starter pack there are some articles which are helpful for parents as well as the children.
Please book your spots for the next Mindful Moovz Workshops at Ripponlea Primary School! Thursday at 3.50 pm – 4.50pm for 4 weeks from 16 Nov – 1 Dec 2017. For ages 7 – 10 year.
