S T O P P R E S S
Sometimes an opportunity is presented to us that is just TOO GOOD to refuse! Many of you will know that Channel 9’s “The Block” was filmed in Regent Street, Elsternwick, earlier this year. The episodes are currently airing on TV.
Thanks to our local Mayor, Mary Delahunty, Ripponlea Primary has been offered the chance to run the SAUSAGE SIZZLE at “The Block” OPEN FOR INSPECTION on Sunday, 15th October.
If there’s one thing we know how to do well, it’s run a GOOD SAUSAGE SIZZLE and this is a MASSIVE fundraising and marketing opportunity for our school.
10,000 people are expected to attend the OFI ... that’s a LOT of sausages we need to sell!
We are calling for as many parent helpers as possible to pull this one off. Please put your name on the roster and we’ll provide further details next term:

You don’t need to be a parent of the rostered class to help out!
You’ve read about our upcoming sausage sizzle at “The Block” Open Day on Sunday, 15th October, but that’s not the only fun activity we have planned for Term 4! Make sure you join us on Friday, 10th November for our Ripper Twilight Market and remember to place an early order for your Christmas pudding/cake.
