Principal News

How lucky are we?
Can you believe that we are already celebrating a third term of 2019?
We have achieved so much in Term 3; Life Education knowledge, School Concert talent, positive NAPLAN results, proud sporting successes, incredible fundraising efforts and high quality professional learning for staff (just to name a few). It is an incredible honour to work in a school that cares so deeply, works so passionately and dedicates so strongly as a community. Thank you so much.
Monique Corcoran and Sally Herbert.
Proud 2019 Foundation students
Today, Wednesday 19 September, was the first "Step Up" to school program day for the 2019 Foundation students.
It was fabulous watching the joy on the students faces taking part in a 'big school' activity. The Year 6 students who led this event, beamed with pride when 'showing off' their school and the strong connections and relationships we develop as students of CSPS.
DET initiative - Why are we proud of CSPS?
As part of the Public School. Our School. initiative, schools are invited to show us what we are most proud of about our school. This can be done through a video, artwork, or another creative piece that is posted to your school’s social media channels.
CSPS could win time with the Department’s video team to develop a video you can use to promote your school to the local community.
If there is a family/community member that would be interested in leading this with our energetic and enthusiastic team, please contact the Principal.
Child Safe Standard 7:
Empowering children
Promoting children’s participation can benefit their experience at school because it provides valuable information about their experience.
Most importantly, when children have opportunities to participate and feel their contributions are valued, they are more likely to speak up when harmed or feeling unsafe.
For further ways to empower participation of children.
