Spectacular Success!

Movers & Shakers

Three dancers from Cowra High School have been selected to perform on the biggest stage in the country - this year's Schools Spectacular.

The trio, Nicola Carter, Chloe Fricker and Hope Martin-Edgar have been selected for a variety of performances.  Nicola has been selected for the jazz ensemble and the amazing musical theatre segment.  Chloe joins Nicola in the musical theatre ensemble and Hope will be featured in the tap routines.

They were announced at a special ceremony in Sydney last week.  Auditions for Schools Spectacular started in February this year with the dancers creating and rehearsing their audition pieces that were filmed and sent in for the first audition process.  From the video audition, the Schools Spectacular notified the students who were successful in gaining a place in the live auditions.  All three girls went to Sydney to audition with hundreds of other successful students from across NSW and were among the select few from each discipline  finally selected to participate in November's performance.

Cowra High School is very proud of the girls' achievements and wish them all the very best as they enter an extremely demanding and exciting adventure.

The Schools Spectacular will be held on November 24 and 25 at QUDOS Bank Arena in Sydney.
