Year 7 Woodgrove EAL excursion

We would like express the year 7 EAL excursion was a great success. Students were well behaved and very respectful towards the people in our community.

The purpose of our excursion was to create a survey and interview our local community on the Liveability factors we have learnt about during our lessons.

The people who were interviewed expressed their thoughts and said this is a great activity for our students, especially in building confidence and learning skills in speaking to people.

Students and teachers were grateful and appreciated that the people interviewed allowed us to take photos while they were taking the survey.

We have given each student who attended a STARR Award and sent home a STARR postcard as well.
