Slumber Party

Year 2 students partied hard during the Year 2 Sleepover. Here are some of their stories:

On Friday it was the Year 2 Sleepover. I was excited to go. It was fun. First my mum had to sign me in. Next I set up my bed. Next we started to line up but it started to rain and thunderstorm. We were sad but the teachers decided to start our Pyjama Disco earlier. We danced lots and lots. After that we were thirsty and tired. We got our Milo and muffin. Next we hopped into bed and watched a movie. We got popcorn. It was fun.

On Friday night it was our Year 2 Sleepover. We first set up our beds. Then while we were waiting for the other kids we watched a movie. Then we were going to go outside but it was raining, so we had our Pyjama Disco. We got glasses and bubbles. I was so tired. After the disco we had supper and had milo. Then we had popcorn at the movie and then in the morning we had breakfast and we got picked up.

On the Year 2 Sleepover our Mum and Dad came to sign in and get our stuff ready. We were about to go outside. It was raining. We came and sat down. The teacher said go get change into your pyjamas for the disco. We walked to the Year 2 spot. We danced. After we went to brush our teeth and went in our bed and ate popcorn. We watched a movie. We went to sleep. In the morning we ate breakfast. Our Mum and Dad came and picked us up. We went home.

When I arrived I was very excited. First we signed in. Then we set up our bed. We couldn’t go outside but instead we had our PJ Disco. We loved it. Then we had our supper. It was muffins and milk. Then we got ready for the movie. After the movie we went to bed.

On Friday it was the best day ever because it was the day I got to sleep over at school. I was very, very, happy. I slept next to Ruby and Ayisha. After that I said bye to my wonderful Dad. About thirty minutes later the disco started. My heart was pounding. My favourite song was Macarena. After the disco we got Milo and a cupcake. Then it was time to watch Beauty and the Beast. We got popcorn. It was yummy. Then it was bed time. Everyone was asleep at one o’clock. The next morning we had toast and Milo. Then my Dad came and picked me up.
