Students of the Week

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded Student of the Week this week and last week.  

 

*Prep A Jhye C -   It is so good to see you trying so hard with your school work. I like reading your writing and it is great to see you stretching out your words to help you spell. You are giving your reading a red hot go. I am super proud of the way you just get started straight away with your reading in the morning and use lots of reading strategies. Keep making good choices at playtime.  

Kara H  - You are doing such a great job with your learning Kara. It has been wonderful to see you become a confident reader and writer. You have been a wonderful helper and role model for the 2021 Preps.  Keep up the great effort, Kara.

 

*Prep B -  Blake Mc - You have settled in so well to Echuca Twin Rivers School. You are kind and caring and always try your personal best. Keep up the great work.

Kyla F - For her fantastic writing and reading in class. She enjoys learning and always tries her best in class Well done Kyla  

 

*1/2A -  Levi R – for being a Mathematics Whizz! You have an excellent understanding of the topics we are learning in maths, especially division. You are developing some great strategies to assist you to calculate the answer to division problems.

Judy K - for sharing her amazing knowledge of Indigenous traditions and customs. Judy, you have been a wealth of knowledge in our classroom and have confidently shared this information with your classmates.  

 

*1/2B - Jaydah W -  I have noticed that you are really trying hard with your writing and persisting with your handwriting each morning. Keep up the great work. Well done Jaydah.  

Piper H -  You have been doing a fantastic job with your reading this week. I can see you stretching out difficult words and using other strategies to figure out words. Keep up the great work. Well done Piper.

 

*1/2CDeclan M  -  You are such a happy member of 1/2C and I love you seeing you come in each morning and organise yourself for the day ahead. It’s been great to see your working stamina and concentration to the task at hand improve every day. Keep working hard, you are doing a great job.

Chance S  -  Chance, you are absolutely on ‘FIRE’ with your learning at the moment and giving everything a ‘red, hot, go.’ It is great to see your organizational skills improving as well and seeing you have everything on your table, ready to learn. Keep up your terrific efforts!

 

*3/4A - Mirari E C - Well done Mirari! You always show the school values of Respect, Academic Excellence and Responsibility each day in our classroom. Keep it going.

*3/4B -  Jaxon P  - for a great week at school. Jaxon it has been wonderful to see the choices you have been making in the classroom this week. It has certainly shown in the work you have been producing. Keep up the great work!

Alicia BY -  for a fantastic week at school. Alicia your commitment to your work is outstanding. You are always providing discussion points when working as a whole group, and are always working to improve your work. Keep up the amazing effort.

*3/4C -    Ricky D R - For  showing a positive attitude to his schoolwork this week and trying his best to achieve in all areas. I have noticed you really attempting to improve your handwriting. It was also great to hear you share your wealth of knowledge around NAIDOC week.  Keep up the awesome work!

Jayden B - Jayden, your enthusiasm and positivity to your reading has been spectacular. I can see you piecing together the puzzle and you have made great strides in your fluency and decoding. Your growing confidence has also improved your participation in class discussion. It is great to hear your thoughts. Well done Jayden!

 

*5/6A -  Maree L - I am so impressed with your amazing writing. You have blown me away with the detail and description you include and I can see a strong writer’s voice. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your pieces. Well done Maree.

Tanner K - It has been great to see you challenging yourself with your learning. You continue to work hard to complete the Challenge Classroom work and I can see the way you are critically thinking about each equation. Keep up the great work! 

 

*5/6B -   Lucy Cox -  It has been wonderful to see you settle into Echuca Twin Rivers so well and begin to make some great friendships with your peers. I have enjoyed seeing you grow in confidence in the classroom, both in your work and when you contribute to our class discussions during learning. Keep up the fantastic work!

Stevie L  -  Just wow! I don’t even know where to begin! It has been amazing to see you blossom in the classroom and become so much more confident in your abilities. I have loved seeing you contribute so many of your thoughts and understandings in our lessons and see you apply this to all of you work. Your writing moderation on ‘The Strange Egg’ was fantastic to read and I am so proud of how far you have come. Keep up the amazing work!

 

*5/6C -   Ryder J  -  For his amazing descriptive writing about a new character from our class novel. The language and structure in which you wrote was the best piece of writing you have written. Your assistance with the 3/4 athletics was also valued. Great work!

Jane F  -   For continually displaying our school values at all times. You listen intently to all instructions and work hard to complete each task. Well done and keep it up!

 

*Reading Groups -  Serena M - For her enthusiasm during our daily reading groups. You have continued to make great progress with all that we are learning. You support the other group members with your positive attitude and comments. Keep up the awesome efforts!

 

*Art with Mrs Logie -   Amelia A - For always listening carefully to the instructions given in the Art room and taking great care with your work to create your own unique pieces of Art. Great job and keep up the awesome work!

 

*Art with Mrs Horkings -   Seth L  -    For a sensational start to your Threads and Textiles stuffie. Your whip stitch was fantastic. I am so impressed with your resilience and patience with this task. Well done Seth!  

Blyss M  -  For always showing doing your absolute best in the Art Room! All of your art pieces have been outstanding this year, including an interesting Plasticine Painting of a Dreamtime story for NAIDOC Week.  

 

*Music/Indonesian -  Braxton P -  For joining in with all the ‘moving to music’ activities. It is lovely to see you enjoy music so enthusiastically.

Isaiah F  -  You always enjoy the music activities with enthusiasm. I love seeing you laugh and moving to music!

 

*PE -   1/2 B   -  For being super stars in P.E! I really enjoy our sessions because you all try your best, even if it’s new or challenging and you all demonstrated respect and responsibility. Thank you for being so wonderful, keep up the great work!
