NAIDOC WEEK

NAIDOC WEEK 2020

Maki Sensei and the Year 6 Global Citizenship team

During NAIDOC week, we celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Usually held in July during our school holidays, this year, NAIDOC week is held on November 8-15th. NAIDOC stands for the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee.

At Murrumbeena Primary, we are celebrating NAIDOC week with posters that students have made in their own time. Well done to everyone who created a poster, on their own or in a group. They all look excellent and will be displayed around the school to celebrate NAIDOC week.
