Seniors - Learning Space 3

During Re/Inquiry this Term the LS3 Seniors have been learning about the Universe. 

During our investigations students explored questions to further their thinking and understanding. 

Some of these questions are; 

• Is Time Travel real and possible? 
• How are Black Holes formed? 
• Do other planets have moons? 
• Is there other forms of life? 

Students then presented their findings to each other.

PE NEWS

The Seniors eagerly participated in Winter Interschool Sports Rotations last Friday. Grade 5/6 had their session from 9.00 – 10.00 and Grade 3/4 from 10.00 – 11.00. Anthony organised some Grade 5/6 students to assist in the coaching and umpiring of the Grade 3/4 badminton rotation. It’s great to see our Grade 5/6 using their leadership skills to assist with the Grade 3/4 rotations.

This week students will complete their final rotation and next week we will begin our House Competitions where students play various sports in their House Teams against other Houses. 

The first sport students will be involved in competing is kickball. By the end of Week 6 we will have our House Ladders on display in the hallway near our PE trophy cabinet.
