Head Start Program

The Head Start Program for Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 students in 2021 is from Monday 30th November until Friday 11th December, inclusive.  It is expected that all students attend and engage in the learning opportunities and getting to know you activities.

Year 8 - 10 Head Start is an opportunity for students to get a taste of their learning in 2021 and be able to co-construct some challenging learning goals that will inspire and motivate them to do their very best.  It is also a chance for students and teachers to build productive relationships with each other so effective and meaningful learning can occur.

PAT Testing in the following areas will also be completed during this time:

• reading
• writing
• numeracy
• vocabulary
• vocabulary skills
