KITCHEN- THANK YOU

THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH TO ALL OF THE VOLUNTEERS WHO HELPED IN THE KITCHEN LAST WEEK.

Fortunately we ended up with enough volunteers to ensure the children’s safety so all sessions were able to go ahead.

Congratulations to all of the children and volunteers for such a smooth start to the kitchen program. I was especially impressed by the grade 3 students who showed such safe knife skills in their first week of kitchen.  I am very pleased to say that no band aids were needed.

There are still some gaps for:

4M Tuesday 11.10- 1.00 pm

4S Thursday 11.10- 1.00 pm

and 4V  Friday 11.10- 1.00 pm

If you are able to help these grade out, please email Lisa Witte- lisawitte@optusnet.com.au  or contact the office.

JUST A REMINDER that a current Working With Children Check (WWC) is required if you are volunteering in the program.

These forms need to be completed online and returned to the Post Office. There is no cost involved.

Please present completed WWC documentation to the office.

Thanking you again for your support

GARDEN- HERB STALL STARTS THIS WEEK

The Kitchen Garden Program will commence its Herb Stall again this week.

We invite you all to come along and support the grade 4 students in their selling endeavours.

The herb stall allows us to sell surplus herbs and assists in keeping the garden flourishing.

It's also a great way for the wider school community to enjoy the fruits of our labours.

The stall will be run in Term 1 alternately by 4S (odd weeks - this week) on Wednesday afternoons and by 4R (even weeks- next week) on Tuesday afternoons

The stall will run for approx. 10 -15 mins from 3.30pm - 3.45pm.

Please come along this Wednesday to support 4S.
