Flora & Fauna
Cooking
Traffic light sandwiches and animal toast were the recipes provided by Mrs O’Keefe for our Cooking program during remote and flexible learning. Mrs O’Keefe’s video provided lots of great ideas for our students to try out, and they certainly had fun with their tasty creations as the photos show.
Science & Sustainability
In Science we continued our unit on Melting Moments and students had fun with the ‘Ice Ice Baby’ experiment. Their job was to test what kitchen pantry items worked best to melt ice cubes the fastest. Fun was had by all! This week, look out for our ‘Bouncy Egg Experiment’. Students will need one raw egg, some white vinegar and patience to engage with this fun Science experiment. We can’t wait to see the photos!
Garden Harvest & Garden Maintenance
Our Garden program moved back outdoors to coincide with some of the lovely weather we have experienced. We hope your gardens, garden beds and paths look lovely after receiving help from our Flora and Fauna gurus!
