YEAR 7 PREPARING FOR ASIA WEEK

Our students in Year 7 are all very busy researching information on an allocated Asian Country and then incorporating the information they find into a video presentation in WeVideo that will be shown to the class during Asia Week at the end of this term.  This is a great opportunity for our students to discover a little more about our neighbour countries and many have reported their amazement at some of the things they have found out. We all look forward to seeing these video presentations.

NCSS CHALLENGE

The five-week NCSS Challenge in Python Programming finishes this week. At the time of writing this report we have many students who have successfully completed ALL the challenges from the first four weeks.

Beginner Level: Jacob G (Year 7), Joshua B (Year 9), Mihai P (Year 9), Sam C (Year 10), Max C (Year 10), Bob J (Year 10), Daniel L (Year 10), Nick R (Year 10), Izabel S (Year 10), Gideon S (Year 10), Cameron V (Year 10), Jacky Z (Year 10), Mr Munro (staff);

Intermediate Level: Amit B (Year 9), Daniel K (Year 10), Edward L (Year 10), Tommy L (Year 10) and Andrew X (Year 10).

We hope they can find the stamina to finish week five where they will meet their toughest challenges yet.
