KINGSTON INTERMEDIATE ROUND ROBIN
On Thursday 20 August many McKinnon teams played in the Kingston Intermediate Round Robin for Term 3 across various venues in Melbourne’s South East. McKinnon entered teams in every sport and division:
Boys Basketball (A-3rd/B-2nd): Mr Bridges - Dandenong Basketball Centre
Girls Basketball (A-2nd/B-3rd): Miss Greenwood - Dandenong Basketball Centre
Boys Hockey (1st): Mr Hislop - Waverley Hockey Club
Girls Hockey (2nd): Mrs Hooper - Brighton Secondary College
Boys Futsal (2nd): Mr Jhuoomun - Oakleigh Recreation
Girls Futsal (2nd): Mr Pantelios - GESAC Frisbee (2nd): Mr Cukierman - McKinnon Reserve
Congratulations to the Boy’s Hockey team who progress to a Preliminary Final in week 1 Term 4. Thanks to all the coaches for giving up their time.

YEAR 8 SPORT
Congratulations to the following Year 8 teams:
- Year 8 Boys ‘A’ Basketball and Girls ‘A’ Basketball: who have gone through competition undefeated beating Brighton, Bentleigh, Parkdale and Sandringham;
- Year 8 Boys ‘B’ Basketball: had two wins, a draw and a loss against Brighton;
- Year 8 Boys Hockey: are also undefeated with two draws against Brighton and Bentleigh and a win against Parkdale;
- Year 8 Girls Futsal: also undefeated with wins against Brighton, Bentleigh and Sandringham;
- Year 8 Boys Futsal: undefeated against Brighton, Bentleigh and Sandringham and a draw with Parkdale;
Boys & Girls Basketball, Boys & Girls Futsal and Boys Hockey will progress to the Finals which will be held on Friday 11 September.
YEAR 7 SPORT
Congratulations to the following Year 7 teams:
- Boys Baseball A & B: three wins – Bentleigh, Parkdale and Sandringham;
- Girls A: win against Parkdale and loss to Bentleigh;
- Girls B: win against Bentleigh and Parkdale;
- Boys Hockey – win against Bentleigh and loss to Parkdale;
- Girls Hockey – win against Bentleigh;
- Boys Futsal – win against Bentleigh;
- Girls Futsal – win against Bentleigh.
McKinnon will play Brighton on 8 September.
