International Women’s Day Breakfast

Congratulations to members of the Allegria String Ensemble - Ava Gilbert, Alice Gardner, Isabella Robinson, Hannah McDonald and Dimity Whitaker, and to vocalist Arwen Abad (accompanied by Mr. Opstelten on the guitar) for their inspiring performances at the International Women’s Day Breakfast on Tuesday 8 March. We are so proud of the calibre of musicians at our College. The rendition of U2’s hit ‘All I Want is You’ was especially well received!

Music Tuition Fees

We have been busy transitioning our Music Tutors to Casual Staff members at Clayfield College. This means that Tutors will no longer be sending out individual invoices to families. Instead, tuition fees will be added to your school account.

Please note that any outstanding lessons as a result of explained absences will be carried over to the following term, as there will be no refunds issued. All accounts must be paid by the due date for lessons to continue.

Thank you for your patience as we set up this new system.

Ensemble Contracts – Commitment Agreement

A reminder that ALL music students must complete this online form by the end of term.

Your commitment agreement includes the requirements and expectations from the Music Department regarding your yearly commitment.

Please click on the button below to complete your commitment agreement:

When a conflict arises between College commitments, students must alert their ensemble conductor direct via email or alternatively email  music@clayfield.qld.edu.au. We can then negotiate a suitable arrangement with the other parties involved. In addition, we encourage regular communication between parents and ensemble conductors regarding attendance at rehearsals and concerts.

Should you have any questions regarding your commitment or the online form, please do not hesitate to email music@clayfield.qld.edu.au.
