Harmony Day!

HARMONY DAY

As you may know, St Anthony’s primary school celebrated Harmony Day run by the SRC’s on Monday last week. Every student got to wear casual clothes with a touch of orange to school. Everybody had lots of fun and enjoyed the day.

Each class organised a couple of activities for everyone to take part in. The stalls were the following: Prep SO did a disco and a bubbles fun, while Year 1/2AR  did stress ball making and jelly bean guessing jar. Year 3/4 SL made a haunted maze that you crawled around in with glow sticks while outside they had a photo booth. The other Year 3/4’s i.e 3/4 TO went for a more active approach with capture the flag and a scavenger hunt. Besides the scavenger hunt Year 5/6 MC had an obstacle course. Inside they did badge making and choc toss. Year 5/6 MN did calming jars, comics and footy target. Finally, all the SRC’s worked together to run a staff baby photo guessing game.

In total there was a whopping $468.35 raised for Caritas. Students paid $5 for a wristband and 20 cent for choc toss & jelly bean jar so a lot of money was raised for Caritas. Everyone at Harmony day would probably agree that the longest lines were for the choc toss and haunted maze. Everyone had a great day and we are looking forward to next year.
