Steam Punk Art

Have you seen the steampunk art work outside of the art room? If you haven’t you really need to, it is so amazing! Students have worked so hard on this topic. It is so amazing how they made robots out of cardboard. 

Students have worked really hard on these art pieces, they did not give up when their robots didn’t work out how they expected and were really resilient. We can't wait to see what they can do next term! Probably something even more exciting.

The way they made these is by using a hot glue gun to glue machine like looking things onto their robots. They used wooden gears to make it look like a machine. They added eyes, mouths, legs and arms. How exciting! They painted it with paint that looks like rust and added a bit of shine.
