Student Leadership

 The leadership program is a program that picks a few people in grade six to be student leaders of the school. They present assembly with one other grade 6 and repeating in that fashion.  Everyone in senior has had a chance to stand up at assembly, all student leaders rotate between each other for assembly so everyone gets a turn! This boosts their self confidence and vocabulary, and teaches them leadership. Students who have participated said that leadership was fun. They enjoyed setting up and packing up the assembly equipment, speaking in front of the school. 

Mr Gooding has told the seniors that everyone is a leader in senior and they lead the school in what we do - whatever we do others will follow. If we show disrespect others will follow, if we treat everyone fairly they shall do the same. He was teaching us about responsibility and using it properly with leadership to lead the school.
