Cross Country Carnival

Our school Cross Country Carnival will be held on Thursday 31st March (Week 10, Term 1) at Windang Public School commencing at 9am. Families are welcome to attend but follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. 

In preparation for our wonderful Windang students to try their best and have a go, It might be a good idea to start prepping them for the big day (if you have not already)! Even an extra 5 minutes a day of running around the block (or from the kitchen to their room) will help them build confidence in their ability to perform at their highest capability. 

Starting this week (week 9) we will be running a fun run club from now until the big day. This will run Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at 8:35am-8:50am on school grounds. This event is an extra activity that will allow students to build their confidence in running. Just bring your hat, a drink bottle and some running shoes! 

Regional Swimming Carnival  - Feb 2022

On Friday 11th March we had 4 very talented swimmers (Beckham L, Immy W, Jarvis S and Lachlan H) represent Windang Public School at the Regional Swimming Carnival at Dapto Swimming Pool. Each swimmer displayed grit, determination and sportsmanship. 

All students had a fantastic day representing our school. A special congratulations to Immy W who advanced to the state swimming carnival. We are so incredibly proud of all of our Windang swimmers.
