Welcome to our Student Learning Support Officers

Hello from Miss Kutup

Hi there! I would like to formally introduce myself to all members of the Windang Public Primary School community. My name is Miss K and I have recently become an SLSO at Windang PS. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education at UOW and am looking forward to implementing my knowledge into practice. This degree continues to offer me the tools and resources needed to help young students reach their highest potential. Here are a few other things about me! I am compassionate, kind and creative. I enjoy exercising outdoors, watching the sunrise and sunset, playing with my dog Otis, movie marathons, and anything arts and crafts. I can’t wait to get to know more of you and share my love of education with the students at Windang PS.

Hello from Mr Roberts

Hi, my name is Cooper Roberts and I am 19 years old.

I'm am enjoying working with your children on Fridays this year.  I currently also work at Kangaroo Valley Public School from Monday to Thursday and this is my second year of being an SLSO.

I enjoy the rewards that come with helping the students achieve their best in all areas including academically, socially, and emotionally.

I have a big interest in all kinds of sport, and I currently play rugby league for the St George Illawarra Dragons under 21 team. I also play Oztag at a representative level and have been selected in the Australian Tagaroos squad to play at the World Cup.

I am very excited to be part of the Windang team for 2022!

Hello from Miss Lombardi

Hi to the parents, guardians, and students at Windang Public School! My name is Alessia Lombardi, and I’ve recently joined the Windang PS Staff as an SLSO. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education at UOW, as it has been a dream of mine for many years to someday be a primary teacher.

I am incredibly excited to be an SLSO and to provide students with extra support in the classroom that will benefit their learning. I am hoping to be someone that students can count on. It’s a rewarding feeling knowing that you can have an impact on a student’s education. As an SLSO I believe that one of the most important parts of my role is helping students to believe in themselves. I am looking forward to continuing getting to know more students and parents along the way!

Outside of Uni and SLSO work, I deeply enjoy my coffee with a sunrise view, the beach, music, and dance, as well as spending quality time with my family and friends

Hello from Mr Smith

Hey everyone,

My name is Mr Zadien Smith and I’m currently a second year university student studying to be a primary school teacher. I am a friendly and easy going person and I am so excited to be given this opportunity to work with such a great school. I have a passion for teaching and chose this career because I had a terrific teacher in primary school who was a fantastic role model for me. He was passionate about teaching, knowledgeable and consistently gave his all to help his students succeed. I aspire to be as positively influential as he was. I will be working at Windang PS every Thursday.
