Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

St Philip’s has some wonderful traditions and one of them is the presentation of ties to the Captains of McKay House. We’re blessed that Bruce McKay (son of College Founder, Fred McKay) is McKay House Patron and makes the journey every year to do the presentation. It’s comforting to know that we’re able to keep such close ties with Bruce and his sisters, Margaret, Ruth and Liz and their families, as their place in the history of the College is indelible.

Last Wednesday we held the Parent’s and Friends’ Association AGM and thank you to those parents who have agreed to assist P&FA President Lizzie Edwards and her committee in 2022. Every parent is automatically a member of the P&FA and by attending these gatherings you are able to meet other parents and to hear first-hand what has been happening around the College. We hope you are able to come along next term.

We’re mid-way through Term 1 and our programs are up and running and in full-swing, and I hope your children are taking advantage of all the opportunities the College offers.
